    The kings of poker world entertainment are renewing their relations to continue to bring spectacular events to poker fans across the globe. World Series of Poker (WSOP) and ESPN are taking their contract all the way to the year 2017. The news of the two extending their contract has been the buzz of recent times. The joint venture began in 2003 since when WSOP has been airing on ESPN. Their present contract is to expire next year. The new one is stated to begin from 2011 and requires ESPN to pay a rights fee.

    The present WSOP series had 57 tournaments that were held in Las Vegas. The final event is in two stages where the 9 players would make it through the 6,494 players to the finals. The ESPN broadcast that began in July 28 will be aired through November. ESPN covers the main event through the rest of its TV schedule.
