Reports claim that there is at least a 9% decrease in the number of players and a seizure of $30 million by the government isn’t making things any better for the online poker company.

Companies like Full Tilt Poker did run into trouble with checks bouncing but managed to overcome the hurdles and is seeing a 5% boost in business. Another rival company that managed to make it through is Party Poker. But the company owes its success to its recent Million Dollar Hand promotion. Other companies such as Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet are also facing no variations in their online traffic despite the problems they faced with eCheck.

Poker Stars however might not see anymore fall in business. Considering that it is the biggest online poker website in the world, it is bound to recover from the tragedy at a slow yet steady pace. The company still has it loyal players coming back to play at their all time favorite website.
