September is going to mark the day when poker takes to the sky! PartyPoker and Ace Magazine have come together to create a game ambiance unlike any other you have ever know. The Poker in the Sky event is to take place 50 meters above land over the Copenhagen Town hall.

22 poker players are going to go head to head with two celebrities with their heads literally in the clouds. The players are to be transported to the aerial venue by a crane that will hoist them the 50 meters at the City Hall Square in Copenhagen. There will be a heated battle during this four hour tournament in the skies. Danish poker is scaling new heights and the game is sure to get the players pumped up with adrenaline. The promoters have high expectations and are sure the event will put Copenhagen on the map. There will be 22 seats arranged around the poker table in at the sky high venue of which two will be for the celebrities attending the poker games. The rest of the seats are open to all players who aren’t afraid of heights.

Players who move through the game can make themselves a spot in the finals on the square at PartyPoker. The Poker in the Sky event is open to residents of Denmark only. And along with the great view of the city, the players also stand a chance of winning an all expense paid trip to the World Open V tournament that will be held in London in the month of October. The tournament, hosted by PartyPoker will include some great poker players of all time and will be broadcast all over the world on TV.
